WESTPAC Young Scientist Award
About the Awards
Since its inception in 2011, the WESTPAC Best Young Scientist Award has been a beacon for nurturing and motivating young marine scientists in the region to excel in ocean science. Selection decisions are made by the Scientific Session Conveners and the Conference Steering Committee through a rigorous review process that evaluates originality, scientific significance, and the quality of both the abstract and presentation, with the aim of recognizing and encouraging excellence and active engagement.
