The IOC Sub-Commission for the Western Pacific (WESTPAC) advances ocean science development and cooperation in the region to support Member States in achieving the sustainable development of ocean, seas and marine resources. We bring Member States together, in particular, their government agencies and research communities, as well as other ocean stakeholders, to develop transformative ocean science solutions that benefit people, Nature and the economy.
