Ocean Literacy for a Sustainable Future in the Western Pacific

Coordination & Implementation

The IOC Sub-Commission for the Western Pacific (WESTPAC) established an open-ended Group of Experts (GoE) of Ocean Literacy in the Western Pacific and its adjacent areas to provide strategic advice and oversights on the development and implementation of Ocean Literacy projects and support to cultivate a ocean-literate society in the Western Pacific and its adjacent areas. The Group was established based on recommendation and nominations by Member States in the region.
