The Vietnam Glory awarded Sub-Commission Advisory Group member Dao Viet Ha.

As the first and sole female Director in the 102-year history of the Institute of Oceanography, Vietnam and concurrently serving as the Chairwoman of Vietnam National Committee for the UNESCO Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of Vietnam, Dr. Dao Viet Ha has distinguished herself through her unwavering dedication to researching marine toxins and seafood safety in Vietnam and the Western Pacific. Her tireless efforts have significantly contributed to social security and sustainable marine economic development in Vietnam, and in the region.

 

Ha stands among a select group of 20 exemplary collectives and outstanding individuals honored by the Vietnam Glory Program.

 

Under the overarching theme of “20 years of inspiring Vietnam’s strength,” the Vietnam Glory Program plays a pivotal role in nurturing patriotic emulation movements and inspiring civil servants, public employees, and workers nationwide to strive for creativity, and contribute to building a prosperous and harmonious Vietnam.
